Snow in Haifa is a rare sight. In the late 1920s, the courtyards of the Technion and of the Reali School in Haifa were documented as they were covered by a light coat of snow. On March 2, 1928, Haaretz newspaper reported: “Snow was falling for a few moments on Mount Carmel yesterday.”
